Meet The Team
Louise Hookham is a local well-known professional who has worked in the rescue, recovery, turnaround and insolvency sector since 1997, training initially under the guidance of Mary Grove of E Mary Grove & Co., a well known local Insolvency Practitioner.
Louise originates from South Wales, however, she has lived and worked in Herefordshire for almost thirty years. She has also worked in this sector in Worcestershire.
Louise has developed a formidable reputation for success on behalf of clients which operate in a diverse range of industry sectors.
Both Louise & Rachel help clients to focus their attention on the specific challenges each face, bringing together their knowledge and experience as recovery specialists, working with potential financial partners and, where necessary, insolvency expertise in order to plan the best possible way forward for any business situation taking into account the personal and financial implications of each and every scenario. This includes Shareholders who wish to close their company via a solvent liquidation process, working closely with their accountant to obtain the most tax effective outcome for each shareholder.
Rachel Ballinger is authorised to act as an Insolvency Practitioner by the Insolvency Practitioners Association and is a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals
Rachel has over 30 years’ experience in dealing with both personal and corporate insolvency matters, more recently focusing on the SME sector. She has worked for several of the country’s leading insolvency specialists as well as smaller practices in Worcestershire and Birmingham.
Having recently set up StarAdvise with Louise she now has a first-hand experience of the difficulties and problems of running your own business! Rachel is well known in the Worcestershire business community and has a wealth of experience to offer in this new venture.
